CVT-CHRISTMAS DONATION GOES TO DKMS FOR SVENJA KETTERER
GOSHEIM
As in the past years, in accordance with our compliance guidelines, we‘ve decided to donate to a charity, instead of sending Christmas presents. Year after year it is a matter of the heart for us to support people who urgently need our help the most. This year, our donation went to a tragic case in the region. The donation went over the DKMS to the 13 year old athlete Svenja Ketterer from Rottweil.
DKMS is a non-profit organization, whose goal it is to improve by support of bone marrow donations the healing chances of the at leukaemia and other life-threatening illnesses of the blood-forming system of patients.
Unfortunately, Svenja has also been diagnosed with blood cancer this year. Besides sports, she loves to bake - her big dream is to open a Confiserie one day. Already in November a big registration campaign took place in Rottweil at the Kapuziner. Even though no suitable donor could be found yet, Svenja has already survived her third chemotherapy. We hope to go ahead as a good example and it would be beautiful if more people would registrated herself at the DKMS and so possibly can help to save a life!
Also the customer & supplier gifts which we had received this year went as a donation to the old retirement home in Gosheim. We are very happy that we were able to give such a great pleasure there and thank the director Mrs. Mattes for the warm welcome. We wish everyone a contemplative Christmas time.
