Students experience the technology of gear manufacturing at CVT-Capellmann - Last week, after a long break, we again had a class from the Middle School in Gosheim-Wehingen visiting our plant in Gosheim. Mrs. Glaser came to us with an eighth grade class on Thursday afternoon.

After Managing Director Paul Capellmann informed the class about the company and the CVT product range, they were taken in groups on tours through the company. During the guided tours, the students were able to marvel not only the everyday work of the running machines, but also many demonstrations of the products and their application. In addition to the core gear cutting process, the production in the turning department and the injection molding department were also visited during the tour. The students were shown tools that are manufactured by CVT itself. Paul Capellmann emphasized that this is where a large part of the know-how is located, because the in-house tool production would provide the possibility of optimal clamping. At the end of the tour, the employees of the assembly department showed how the individual parts are combined into one component and then shipped all over the world via the logistics department. After some refreshments and a lively round of questions, we said goodbye to the 30 students.

We are always very happy when committed teachers gratefully accept our offer of cooperation. At this point, we would also like to thank Mrs. Glaser from the Middle School in Gosheim-Wehingen, who has always been open to cooperation for years.
