ECONOMICS HIGH SCHOOL VISITS CVT

GOSHEIM

Once again, we had a school class visit us on our premises last Monday. The economics course of the WG Rottweil wanted to experience a regional technology company up closer - a perfect reason to take a deeper look at our company with a focus on the economic aspects.

At the beginning, CEO Hans Capellmann briefly informed about the company and our training opportunities. Immediately afterwards, CTO Paul Capellmann gave a short insight into our core process, the technology of gear cutting.

Afterwards, the students went on guided tours of the company in groups. Here, the students were able to look at the daily routine of the running machines as well as many examples of the products and their applications.

In addition to the core gear cutting process, the production in the turning department and the injection molding department were also visited during the tour. The students were also shown tools that are manufactured by CVT itself. Paul Capellmann emphasized that this is where a large part of the know-how is located, because the in-house tool production would provide the possibility of optimal setting. At the end of the plant tour, the assembly staff showed how the individual parts are assembled into a component and shipped all over the world via our logistics department. After some refreshments and a lively round of questions, we said goodbye to the approximately 30 students.

We would like to thank them for their visit, the great exchange and the high level of interest. We would also like to thank Mr. Kettner who made this excursion possible as part of his classes.
